TSA Church Hall Meeting June 14, 2026
There was a great turn out for our meeting following our worship service. Thanks to those who were able to attend. Hopefully this will provide an overview for those who couldn’t.
The intent was to provide an update on several issues, review TSA’s goals and Council planning process and seek congregational input as we plan for the year ahead.
Updates:
- Thrift Shop – Linda Boldt shared that the Shop had been receiving a huge volume of donations which overwhelmed our volunteers doing the sorting, our storage space and our volume to garbage. To help remedy this situation limits were established. This has since been revised to original donation times/amounts since the surge of donations has reduced. Linda also thanked the many volunteers and the ideas and initiatives they bring to the Thrift Shop.
- Website Update – Marilyn Lloyd updated us on development progress aimed at being cell phone friendly and highlighting activities, hospitality and community outreach. Planned completion is this fall. In response to questions… we will continue to have our Facebook page and will implement a TSA Instagram account.
- Sunday School – Eric shared that Sunday School will begin in September – twice per month. Anyone interested in volunteering to help or provide crafts should contact Rev. Eric.
Update on Council Planning for the next Year – Council met June 1, reviewed our three TSA goals and what we are doing to accomplish these goals: 1. Spirituality 2. Outreach & Partnerships, and 3. Resource Management (people, property, money)
Key to moving forward was to get congregational input at our Church Hall meeting June 14.
And so, we asked for Congregational input to 3 questions:
- What do you like about TSA?
- What would you like to see changed?
- Some idea for TSA?
And we received lots of feedback and great ideas. Thank you!! Input is still welcome. There are green sheets with our questions on the table in the Narthex to fill out and hand in to the office. Or just email your ideas to Debbie in the office “office@tsarenfrew.ca”.

We met June 22 to review your feedback, prioritize actions and plan for our next year. We will share that information when we have further developed our plans. Again, thanks for your input.
