On Thursday, July 16, 2026 TSA Thrift Shop volunteer Ellen Groenewoud presented a cheque for $3,335 to David Forrest, a Board Member from Camp Lau-Ren. Camp Lau-Ren is a summer camp for children aged 6 to 16, providing a Christian experience in an outdoor setting. The Camp is located on the Ottawa River, 10 kilometers west of Deep River, off Highway 17, on Lau-Ren Road. Camp Lau-Ren is fully accredited by the United Church of Canada and the Ontario Camps Association. For more information visit their website at www.camplau-ren.com.
