Worship & Life Passages

Sunday Service - Weekly

On Sunday mornings we gather at 10 a.m. to worship God through prayer, song, scripture and a sermon. We seek to provide a contextual and God-centered worship service. Our services typically last one hour.

You are invited to gather in Stewart Hall for refreshments and fellowship following the service.

Sunday School will be offered twice a month starting in September. Please check our calendar and on social media.

Communion is held regularly throughout the year. At the communion table, we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the host and all are guests.

All are welcome to participate in the sacrament of communion.

Life Passages

Baptisms

Baptism is the means by which people are welcomed into the community of Christian faith. While infant baptism is most common in the United Church, adult or ‘believers’ baptism is also practiced when mature individuals make the choice to become members. It is an act of welcoming, blessing, and belonging. If you would like to have a baptism at Trinity St. Andrews United Church, we would be happy to make that happen.

Please contact the church office at 613 432-2285 or email the church office at office@tsarenfrew.ca to arrange a meeting with the minister.

Weddings

Trinity St. Andrews is an Affirming church with an inclusive marriage policy. We affirm that marriage is a gift of God through which Christians make a covenant with each other and with God. In marriage, we offer one another the promise of lifelong companionship and commitment, rich expression of human affections and sexuality, and, if there are children to provide for, their love, nurture, and care. We affirm that this unity is a creation of God and is greater than the two individuals.

An appointment with the minister is required. To confirm a booking, call the office at 613 432-2285 or email the church office at office@tsarenfrew.ca .

Funerals

We offer funerals to all people, both the members of our community of faith and people in the wider community. Empowered by Christ’s promise of resurrection, the Christian church faces the event of death, consoles the bereaved, celebrates the life of the deceased and offers praise to God. In such ways, Christians affirm their belief that there is hope in death as in life, and that there is renewed life, in Christ, after death.
