Pictured on the left is Angie Lepine Charbonneau from the Renfrew Victoria Hospital’s Seniors Angel Tree Fund receiving a cheque for $3,530.00 from Rosemary O’Connor, a volunteer with Trinity St. Andrew’s United Church’s Thrift Shop. Each quarter a portion of the net sales of the Thrift Shop is given back to a not-for-profit community agency. Established in 2019, the RVH Seniors Angel Fund supports local low-income seniors by helping cover the cost of essential goods and services such as transportation, meals, and social program fees. The fund is made possible through individual and staff donations during the annual December Seniors Angel Tree campaign, along with generous support from local charitable groups. Every contribution makes a difference – one senior at a time. The TSA Thrift Shop (corner of Plaunt and Quarry) sells clothing, books and small household goods at affordable prices. TSA Thrift Shop hours are Thursdays 11 to 5 and Saturdays 10 to 2. Donations of goods may be made when the Shop is open for business as well as Monday and Wednesday from 9 – 2.
