Welcome and Introductions
Call to Worship
Signs of resurrection abound. The sap from trees turns into maple syrup. The ice on our rivers melts and water flows again.  The crocus push through the ground and show their blue petals.
Signs of resurrection abound. Canada Geese fly by heading for the north. Lilac bushes begin to bud. The grass starts to grow and green.
Signs of resurrection abound. The boots and coats of winter get put away. Daylight gets longer and the night gets shorter. Children find their bikes and prepare them for summer.
Signs of resurrection abound. Jesus visits the disciples in a locked room. He breathes on them and says “receive the Holy Spirit.” They put their hands in his scars.
Signs of resurrection abound. We acknowledge our doubts and still have faith. We are here, on Facebook, worshipping together. We are a beloved community and a circle of friends.

Sung Response            VU#179

Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Give thanks to the risen Christ;
hallelujah, hallelujah!
Give praise to God’s name.  (2X)

Prayer of Approach
God of resurrection, enfold us into your presence.  May your steadfast love surround us and give us peace.  When doubts arise, help us to acknowledge them and seek understanding.  Give us energy for the unfolding of our days and help us to look around in order to see the signs of resurrection that abound. Forgive us when we cast our eyes down and ignore the wonders of creation.  Lift us up, inspire us to sing out, to dance, to celebrate the goodness we enjoy.  Amen.

Hymn                   We Are One                                                VU 402

1.      We are one as we come,
                    as we come, joyful to be here,
          in the praise on our lips
                    there’s a sense that God is near.
          We are one as we sing,
                    As we seek, we are found;
          and we come needful of God’s grace
                    as we meet, together in this place.

2.      We are one as we share,
                    as we share brokenness and fear,
          in the touch of a hand
                    there’s a sense that God is here.
          We are one as we care,
                    as we heal, we are healed;
          and we share warmth in God’s embrace
                    as we pray together in this place.

3.      We are one as we feast,
                    as we feast, peace becomes the sign;
          in the bread and the wine
                    there’s a sense of love divine.
          We are one as we come,
                    as we feed, we are fed;
          and we feel God’s refreshing grace
                    as we meet at table in this place.

4.      We are one as we hear,
                    as we hear, heart and hand unite;
          in the word we receive
                    there’s a sense that God is light.
          We are one as we leave,
                    as we love, we are loved;
          and we seek justice in God’s ways
                    as we move together from this place.
