On September 9, 2019, Trinity St. Andrew’s United Church (TSA) Thrift Shop volunteer Glenna McIntyre presented a cheque for $1300 to Gerald Adamson, a volunteer with the Renfrew & District Food Bank. Each quarter a portion of the net sales of the Thrift Shop is given back to a local not for profit community agency.
As he accepted the cheque, Gerald explained that “The Food Bank shelves in September are traditionally low as fall begins. Your donation truly makes a difference for our clients.” You can stay up to date with the food bank on Valley Heritage Radio 98.7 & MYFM 96.1 Community Page, or follow them on Facebook.”
The TSA Thrift Shop (corner of Plaunt and Quarry) sells clothing, books and small household goods at affordable prices.
TSA Thrift Shop hours are Monday 10 to 2, Thursday 3 to 7 and Saturday 10 to 2 (except holiday weekends). Donations of goods may be made when the Shop is open. Enter through the Quarry St. entrance.
